Health Advocacy and Social Policy

The National Health Advocacy and Social Policy Committee (NHASPC) of the Chi Eta Phi (CEP) Sorority, Incorporated, as represented by each region, is committed, as professional registered nurses, to our community and CEP membership to make a difference. The NHASPC will move forward as advocates to address: issues and to work with legislatures, community leaders, and other stakeholders to create support to improve the social determinants of health that affect our communities and members.

     In collaboration with the Regions of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated, the NHASPC is prepared to identify issues that impact our communities and members. We will work diligently to accomplish the mission of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated, “service for humanity.” The NHASPC will advocate for nursing practices and policies that improve our community and membership health outcomes now and into the future.
